If so, we invite you to come inside and explore what it means to follow the calling to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are all on a walk through life, but we don&#8217;t have to do it alone. Those of faith find support and inspiration among others who are making a similar journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We celebrate weekly Communion, explore God&#8217;s Word together as we seek to understand the texts we read and the influence of the culture at the time. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 30%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Seek and Connect Group<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Every Tuesday from 10am &#8211; 11.45am including tea\/coffee.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The time is spent viewing a video or reading a particular passage from the Bible, followed by a lively discussion and prayer as we enjoy refreshments together. Tea\/coffee available in the foyer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studies have shown that engaging in prayer can reduce stress by fostering a sense of trust in God&#8217;s plan. <strong>You don&#8217;t have to know how to pray before you do it.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talking to God is a simple and honest 2-way conversation that can happen anytime, anywhere &#8211; out loud or in your head. You can speak to God as a friend or loving Father. You can share your thoughts, feelings, gratitude or struggles without needing special words or a formula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bibles are available and there is usually a minister or church elder on site if you wish to have someone to pray for you; someone to pray with you or someone just to sit quietly by your side in support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Food Pantry<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 31%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We provide a small food pantry consisting of non-perishable food items, some toiletries and recently have added home cooked food which is kept in our freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We welcome donated food items, within date and any other items that can assist those who are struggling in our community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why not volunteer to help!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/parkdalecofc.org.au\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/food-pantry-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-96 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/parkdalecofc.org.au\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/food-pantry-2.jpg 540w, https:\/\/parkdalecofc.org.au\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/food-pantry-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday Worship services 10.15am to 11.30am followed by morning tea in the foyer.
