Our foundation
Churches of Christ commenced over 200 years ago in the United States with a movement which which continues today, of a New Testament Church. The Parkdale Church of Christ was founded in 1921 and moved to its present site in 1923. We continue to grow through our dedication to Christ’s teachings and spiritual enrichment. Our core belief is in the power of prayer and compassionate outreach. We’re passionate about our faith, and we’re excited to share our journey with you.

Parkdale Church of Christ comprises people of many different sorts, but united in our response to Jesus’ call. In serving Jesus we commit to following His example according to His Word. As we follow Jesus we acknowledge there is more to life than just looking out for ourselves, it is how we live, what we value, our place in community, respect for each other and how we relate to the world around us. We do not live solely for ourselves but show compassion for all those we meet.
Faith finds hope in all sorts of unexpected places and offers a bigger and brighter outlook on life. It changes people. Having Jesus in your life does not mean it will all be smooth-sailing. There will be valleys and mountain tops but you will never be alone as you will be anchored to Jesus Christ who provides hope in today’s world.
